Every year Utsav happens during the season of Sraavana Maasam. Thousands of devotees gather at the temple on the day of the Utsav to attain the blessings of Sri Bhadrakali sameta Veerabhadra Swamy. On the day of the Utsav, devotees witness Ganga pooja, Rudrabhisheka & Kalyanotsav from early morning onwards. The main event of the day which is the Rathothsavam begins at 5:30 pm onwards. Annadhanam Seva Samithi provides food to all the devotees who visit the temple on this day. Lankadhanam, an event which is conducted at 6 pm on the next day of the Utsav, is celebrated with fireworks to indicate the end of the Utsav.
